La Salle de dessin presents a collaborative piece between visual arts - painting, structure, animation by Charlotte Winifred Guérard and the contemporary choreography and dance by Taeyun Kim. The representation took place in the historical Life Drawing Room of the Royal Academy of Arts in London and drew inspiration from the casts sculptures and spirits of the life models which resonate in the space. The piece lasts for 12 mins and made of three chapters where Taeyun gestured and danced to the music of Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf. The aim of this piece was to create an immersive experience for the audience, merging the past and present time.
